Impressive TIE Bomber. I’m quite happy with this set. The completed bomber is very dense—there are lots of pieces packed into a small space for a very good likeness of the bomber from the movies. The two cylindrical fuselages are different enough that their respective builds are engaging. In contrast, building the wings is quite monotonous. I’m amused to see the return flick-fire missiles for the bombing function. However, I will knock the bomber for having a windscreen that the pilot can’t see through.
All four minifigures are attractive and well done. I adore Darth Vader’s pensive facial expression and the detailed printing on his suit. The Gonk droid and Vice Admiral Sloane are nice inclusions as well.

Really Cool TIE Bomber. I didn’t know what to expect, but after building I have say I enjoyed every minute of it! I think this TIE bomber was a great set and sets itself apart from the older set. Would recommend this set! 10/10

Impressive. Most impressive. Absolutely love this set!
It’s a really cleverly designed construction. Solidly built and durable. Extremely fun to assemble and displays beautifully. The bomb release takes some getting used to to drop them individually as opposed to all of them simultaneously, yet smaller fingers may have an easier time of doing it. Outstanding model overall.

Finally a TIE Bomber. I was very excited when this set came out as it nearly completes my collection of TIE’s except for the TIE Interceptor; hint hint, nudge nudge! It was a fun build with some good detail.
My only real complaint and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is slightly smaller in scale then the rest of my TIEs. It would have been nice is LEGO stuck with the same cockpit window piece as the rest of the TIE craft and made the overall model a touch bigger.

A Solid Take On A Star Wars Classic. Having not built a lego set since childhood I attempted to go into this product with an open mind. The build was simple yet clever although I can see where the designer was limited by budget, if Lego said go nuts I suspect the common gripes with this set would have been addressed as the ship had ample space to work with. Now with that being said I do agree with the common complaints, the bomb chute disrupts an otherwise beautiful build from a collectors standpoint and it lacks the “fire power” the original version had (a large spring loaded missile) from a play value perspective. These critiques while present shouldn’t stop anybody from purchasing this product, parent or hobbyist alike. This product treads the line between toy and model incredibly well and I’d certainly purchase it again.

Wonderful high quality set! This was a very fun build. While it was quick, the finished product felt very dense and detailed for its scale. The finished product reminded me of the LEGO Attack on Ferrix Ship since both of these sets feel compact and heavy for their size. The Minifigures are a good match for the set, and I love the Gonk Droid! The build has 4 steps, and I found each step to be an even amount of work. Still no paper bags! But again lego hinted that they will soon be coming with paper bags for the pieces. An all-around great set, and it fits in well with other Star Wars sets! Looking forward to wall-mounting this product!

Long time coming, and well worth it. I was so excited to hear about this set coming out! I remember getting the original TIE Bomber twenty years ago. Overall, this is a great build with plenty of awesome minifigures. The design is simple but pairs well with other Imperial ships. I especially like the Vice Admiral Rae Sloane minifigure, and hope to see a white Grand Admiral uniform for her in the future. Great set!

Great set, high price point. I’ve seen a lot of reviews praising the density and firmness of this build- they’re 100% right. This is an excellent design…however, the mini build of the bomb cart seems insignificant and unnecessary. It just seems like a high price point for a smaller sized set. Compared to sets of similar price, it’s tinier.

Fun build, somewhat undersized. First off, it’s a nice build, and it looks very good.
Unfortunately, the scale is off, and it looks very undersized next to the TIE Fighter or A-Wing or any of the X-Wings. The cockpit is really cramped as a result. It really should have been about two studs wider and taller to look right.

Tie bomber review. The build its self I wouldn’t say was terrible just don’t understand the change up on the fold down glass piece to this one just don’t match the other tie model also don’t seem to close all the way but other than that it’s a decent build.
